God's Grace Provides All We Need!

God's grace provides ALL we have, need or want and through it we are what the bible says we are.

Ephesians 2:8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Most Christians understand that they could do nothing to earn their salvation. Salvation is by Grace through Faith. But, many think that having been saved by Grace through Faith that they have to maintain their salvation by their own efforts; by their good works or by 'keeping the law'.

This we cannot do! We maintain our position in Christ in the same way that we received our salvation - By Grace through Faith.

Col 2:6 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

God's grace is his abundant favour towards us, yes, AND it's also His empowerment which enables us to do all things through Christ Jesus.  Jesus is our grace.

I remember someone saying, "Without Jesus I can do nothing. But fortunately I am never without Jesus!"

That is so true! But it means that everything in life is done IN Christ.

I thought that was a good motto to keep in mind as we go through our day. Problems will come and Satan will try to make us lose heart or think that God is not responding to us but the truth is God always hears. In fact, "Before we call he answers us" (Isaiah 65:24).

On the cross Jesus said - "It is finished". Everything that we needed was provided by Jesus in His suffering and His death. Our peace of mind and mental health was paid for by the torment and torture he suffered willingly for us. Our physical healing was paid for by the stripes (beating) he took on our behalf.   And, our salvation was paid for, bought by His death on the cross. Jesus did all that once for all time, past, present and future, and he gives us authority to claim/command all of them in His name.  Paul learned this and was so full of grace that even an item of clothing taken from his body would transfer the grace to heal to another person needing healing.

As in Paul, Jesus said we would do even greater things than He did! That is the power in us all through the grace of Jesus Christ in us, the hope of glory. Available through faith in the Son of God. Remember Jesus told us that, "As the Father sent Him, He was sending us.

What a GOOD God He is.

Best wishes for Grace and the Peace of Jesus.
