Taste And See The Lord Is Good!

I attend a worship service regularly on Saturday in Central London to meet with other Christians and friends. Our motivation is that the love of God constrains us to show love to others and to help others wherever and whenever we can. A Christian is motivated by God to love in all that he/she does and this should come out in their actions.

As one of our old leaders once said, "Faith without (good) works is dead!"

The writer of Hebrews (probably Paul writing incognito) wrote..

Heb 10:24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

So we will be encouraged by Praise and Worship of God and encourage one another with testimonies of what God has done for us and is doing through us for others. Hearing about the good things that God has done stirs us up to go and do likewise; to let God do His marvelous works through us as opportunities arise.

When you're living like that and letting Christ live through you, you'll will find that everything can be fun! The old timers called it a 'joy'! Whatever the current term might be, I encourage you to taste and see that the Lord is good!

Best wishes for Grace and the Peace of Jesus.
Attlee.
