Jesus has commissioned us to be his witnesses wherever we go, as to who He is and what He has done and is doing, and today is another opportunity. Witnesses don't create the events, they report on the events! Of course sometimes as a witness you have to demonstrate what was done. So you may be called upon to demonstrate what Jesus did, and to allow you to do this Jesus said that all believers would be able to "Heal the sick, cleans lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils". As a witness you've got the power, you've got to expect this!

Mark 16:17-18And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; .... they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

It's a good thing therefore that Jesus promised us and gave us the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and provide the power to demonstrate Jesus' works whenever and wherever required. We have to be believers who actually believe, in order to do this but given that proviso, then being a witness will come naturally as we "rest" in Jesus and let Him do the work through us by Holy Spirit.

Obviously we are not to tempt God by doing anything silly or risking our lives. Snakes and scorpions are referring to demonic forces and powers for instance, but rather we are to follow the lead of Holy Spirit. When we do this though, as Jesus said....

Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

I hope that you as a Christian Believer will have a great time today and every day in whatever you do, and you will do it unto the Lord. And if the opportunity comes along to witness of Jesus, just be natural knowing Holy Spirit is in you and just follow His guide.
