The gospel is the ability and certainty of God, in the anointing of Jesus with Holy Spirit and power, to bring good news to the poor, sight to the blind, healing to the sick and deliverance to those Satan has made captives.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are bruised, 19 to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Here the writer Luke tells us that Jesus was anointed to bring good news to all the world held captive by Satan's system.

After Jesus' resurection He showed Himself to the disciples and proved He was alive. Then He commissioned the disciples to go out in the world with the same power and anointing as He had.

John 20:21 Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you." 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit".

As disciples of Jesus; believers in Him; we have received the Holy Spirit and as God the Father sent Jesus into the world, so Jesus sends us!

Luke 10:19-20 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

Serpents and scorpions is bible language for demonic powers. God does not ask us do do something without giving us the power to accomplish it. We have the power within us; through Holy spirit and the authority to use it!

Isn't it great when a plan comes together! God's plans always do!
